This year sites to be used are Berry Center (Friday and Saturday), Cypress Woods High School (Thursday - Saturday), Langham Creek High School (Thursday and Friday), and Cypress Park High School (Thursday only). The CyHoops Invitational is one of our favorite scholastic tourneys of the season. This is a 24-team tournament that features all 12 CFISD High Schools and brings in 12 High Schools from around the area and state.
CFISD Teams: Bridgeland, Cy-Fair, Cypress Creek, Cypress Falls, Cypress Lakes, Cypress Park, Cypress Ranch, Cypress Ridge, Cypress Springs, Cypress Woods, Langham Creek, and Jersey Village.
Other Participants: Austin Westlake, Converse Judson, C.E. King, Dickinson, Fort Bend Marshall, Killeen Shoemaker, Klein Cain, Mansfield Summit, Strake Jesuit, Summer Creek, The Colony, and Waxahachie.
Teams come in battle-tested and leave prepared for the district chase that awaits them to finish top four to make the playoffs and have a run for the UIL State Title. The facilities are top-notch, the hospitality by the staff is A1, and the games are really good too.
Out of the 24 teams participating. Four teams are TABC State Ranked. UIL 6A: #18 Waxahachie. UIL 5A: #1 Fort Bend Marshall, #2 Mansfield Summit, and #10 The Colony
